Wow! That is surely one mighty adventure! I have beaten Murkon three times, every time with a full party of 6 characters. I've mostly been able to take care of Murkon's henchmen with about 5-8 rounds of triple QUAKE, and on Murkon himself I have used Samurai Swords (or a Blade of Power if I've been lucky enough to find one) for several dozen rounds. I would face Murkon a fourth time, since this is a really great game, but I already have the full compliment of 18 characters and I'm loath to destroy any of them, or make another player. Sam told us the "sequel" (if you can call it that) to MR will be appearing this year. I'm eagerly awaiting it. VERY eagerly.
