First off, there's no point to keeping those gold coins; find someone you can give them to if you haven't already. Secondly, the tower is important, but I don't think you can access it at the point in the game you're at, so don't worry about it for now. Thirdly, yes, there is something important in the garden, but you'll need to get something out of the way first. Have you helped any furry friends lately?
