> Recently, Canadian media have reported incidents of American individuals and companies refusing to do business with Canadian individuals and companies because of their "Canadianness". The reason given for this practice is the lack of official Canadian support for the American war on terrorism as continued in Iraq, this despite Canadian military support in the region.

I have only a few family members in the United States, so my perspective is limited by media, which are often inaccurate and always biased, on both sides of the border. For those Americans reading this message, what do you really think about the current relationship between Canada and the United States? Should American businesses and individuals alter their trade policies based on Canada's policy on American war involvement? Will the situation get worse for Canadians? Is it right? Do you care?

I didn't know of any hostility towards Canadians until I read this post, but any type of hostility towards foreigners because they come from a country that disagrees with yours is just plain stupid.
