Faux Pas' wife is a certified Super Genius, but even she's not omniscient (as far as I know). The point in telling your wife you love her is that (A) It makes her feel good, and (B) it's concieveable she does *not* know you love her, or at least at that very moment she may not know you're thinking about her.

God, being omniscient, DOES know you love him and DOES know you're thinking about him. To me, pretty much all focused conversation with an omniscient being. has to be a waste of time, because he already knows everything you're thinking. It's like someone constantly saying everything twice.

And I don't even want to touch the idea of God needing us to make him feel better.
