It took me longer than that both times I was out of a job... three months the first time and four the second. And I'm sure you're familiar with Sam's job-hunting stories.

But I wouldn't give up on finding a job that you're qualified for that you'll like. Even if you need to take something lower paying in the meantime. That way you can bring in something but still keep trying for something better...
