I'm just wondering if the Quiet series of spells stop monsters from using elemental breath, because that would really help me. Thanks. I asked this question at one point, can't remember whether it was on the forum or in chat; the answer is no, so you can't get such neat immunity. However if your characters have their resistances maxxed out, elemental breath won't be as bad anyway; and when you get near Murkon you'll find that the "biggest baddest enemy" (at least on account of the number of them) is the Royal Escort with no spells or breath anyway.
> Also, if I retrain a rogue, does he still havee the skill to disarm things? No. This is detailed in the help (see link below): "When changing from a rogue to something else, the rogue's unique chest-disarming abilities are lost. If you're changing to a rogue, the character gains these chest-disarming abilities."
Seems silly, though. Chest-disarming should be a skill gained like a spell - so a new rogue starts with it (same as a wizard starts with CANDLE and HEAL), and if you retrain to rogue you'll get it on first level-up. " rests comfortably. He has learned to disarm traps!"
Hope this helps.
