> First off, remember that the station is a torus, or a donut-shape. Now, what you want to do is to systematically work your way from a starting point on the torus around its length, coming back to your starting point, turning the intersection so that they connect with each other. In doing this, you should circle the torus a number of times. If you start at one of the broken conduits, it makes your work that much easier. Following this advice, you should get it in two tries at most.

I had a tough time realizing how the conduits worked until I figured out what they looked like too. Here's my best description: think of each spot as a circle with four prongs coming out of it at the top, bottom, left, and right. Then think of an L-shaped bar inside the circle that can turn and connect to two prongs at once. The "broken conduits" are the prongs that are sticking out of the circle, and the L can therefore not connect to that conduit. You get it?
