If you're looking at using "Seize," you may want to try the wizard spell "Epidemic." It works really well on some things doing a lot of damage if not killing them outright. On other things it doesn't do diddly. I like it because it's (except for the case just mentioned) not an "all or nothing" type deal. Just my $0.02.

In my opinion Seiz3e works really well on canines and the like - also on bats. I guess I always use it on sap hounds - they can do alot of damage.
