The booster job? You could start by going to Docking Bay C, where most of the maintenance is done. If you get out in the maintenance ship and don't have what you need, go to the supply room and talk to that guy again. (Although I think you did that already.)

For a hint on the booster job, go have a talk with Sawyer. He can clue you in.

The wrench and the gun will be acquired MUCH later in the game. Don't worry about them now.

As for a mine pass, if you manage to chat with Dr. Gingram, you'll be well on your way to getting it. However, he's in the medical ward and not in any condition to talk. Start off by stowing away to Akumos and searching the crates when you do. You'll find something that might be of interest to a certain lunch buddy of yours...
