It works better when you don't own up to it.

This one time, I wrote a Perl script to make an html file, and I wanted the output to be in two columns, so I used nested tables. Then someone said "You should use CSS" and I looked it up on the web but couldn't find out how to do two columns with CSS anyway so I stuck with nested tables. Not that this has anything to do with anything.
