Read the business card and note the names. If you don't have the option to trade, then check a location from very early in the game. There's an item lying around that will help you in the long run. > > > > > > The better weapon is nearby -- but I think you need to be assigned a new task before you can get hold of it. > > > > > > And you will have to go back into the mines -- and you'll have to explore them thoroughly. > > > > > > mac "knit and pearl" rinus7 > > > > i already got the small mirror: i just forgot to mention it. ive visited 2 of the people on the card, and the other one is blocked by the little boy. I know the better weapon for the kid was one of the LAST things I got, and you'll have to go through a lot of stuff before you can get it. Don't worry about him right now. > > Geez, it's been a while since I played this game... (re-reads over your inventory and thinks) > > WAIT a minute. I don't see the Mine Access Card in your inventory. You had a chance to talk to Dr. Gingram yet? He'll reward you with something that a certain crazy scientist will just love.
That last part should also put you on track for trading -- those people want valuable stuff. But I think a trip to the medical ward should be the first stop (for a couple of reasons, not all of which involve Dr. Gingram).
