Somebody else has heard of this movie!? I thought my Biology teacher senior year of high school was the only person in existence who knew of it. He also had a copy of it on tape, that we'd watch during down periods. It became a sort of "cult classic" in our class, and when we'd be doing some boring topic in class, we'd demand Doc Bowlin let us watch Triffids. He never did give in to our demands, but only let us watch it during free periods.
