I'm still convinced you and I saw a different movie. Maybe it was like "Clue" and you got to see the good ending. I got the stupid one where it was Ms. Peacock in the kitchen with a glass of water and a baseball bat.

Anyway, I'm hardly the only one who had a problem with the ending. I can almost agree with Ebert's opinion that the rest of the movie is so good that the ending doesn't matter, but I doubt I will ever *like* the ending.

All this talk about endings has made me think about "Minority Report" and I think I shall discuss it shortly.
