Pfish. Nobody needs twenty pairs of shoes. I only have three - sandals, sneakers, and short black boots to wear at places where it's not appropriate to wear sandals or sneakers (they're affectionately known as my Jedi boots because I first bought them to go with an all-black Luke Skywalker-esque jedi costume I wore for Halloween some years ago. I never managed to get a black glove, unfortunately). And when the straps on the sandals wear away (which seems like it will be soon), I fully intend to make myself some sandaley, moccasinny things out of felt or chamois or leftover straps of fabric (or all three) and glue/sew/attatch/whatever them to the strapless soles of the sandals. Voila. New house shoes.
