AND HE DID. I'll probably be a little bit sad tomorrow, but right now all I'm thinking is that by the end of this week I will be entirely debt free for the first time in my adult life, my tickets to the USA will be paid for, and I'll still have money left over.

Best of all, the guy who bought it is an experienced (professional, in fact) seaman and he will treat it right and look after it, and use it to its full potential. I have taken a few calls from people who had never been on a boat before but thought they wanted to try it. The thought of selling MY BOAT to one of those people has made me spend a few sleepless nights wondering how hard it would really be to just sneak out at night and sink it and claim the insurance instead.
