well, you say you've used the sap, which would mean you already have the sap tap ? but if so, you didn't use it in the right place, by your inventory. I think we're just guessing, cause I don't think your list is complete. IF you can access a bucket of sap, try wandering around the volcano, k ? if not, go "hut searching" as mac suggested.
