Normally I get it out of the water once a year for cleaning and a new coat of antifoul paint. It's a bit overdue this year, which is why it's so dirty. The nearest fresh water river mouth which I could get my boat up would require either circumnavigating the country or lifting the boat out of the water on a crane and trucking it about five hours by road.
