Some times I go to the movies.

On the spur of the moment, WMM and I went to the movies. Both of us had read "Catch Me If You Can" and we were curious about the movie.

Two thumbs up.

It did not follow the book exactly, but it was closer than lots of movies taken from books.

Casting was very good to great.

There was a minimum of profanity and s&x. And no real violence either. A good movie doesn't need that stuff. It was a little too long, but I can't think of any way they could have made it shorter without messing it up.

And it was funny. If you want me to like a movie, you have to make it funny.

Tom Hanks again played a character that was completely different from any he had played before. I don't see how he can keep doing that.

Leonardo DeCaprio was perfectly cast in the lead role, although he looks nothing like the guy he played. He is a better than average actor.

You have to keep in mind that this story took place several decades ago, and could not happen today.

I may go see another one in a year or so.

I have a good story related to this which I will save until tomorrow. I've been awake for 19 hours now and I don't want to fall asleep on the key board.
