It's 2:30 a.m. and I'm too excited to sleep! My husband,3 children, and my mother-in-law are asleep. (I work nights so....I'm awake)
I'm typing this by the light of the Christmas tree, and the only sound I hear is my fingers hitting the keyboard.
The presents are wrapped, the stockings are full, Santa has had her cookies and milk, and all is calm and all is bright!
Later this morning there will be chaos, 3 excited children,(15, 12 & 10) three sleepy/excited adults and two very confused cats!
Early in the afternoon, we all head over to my sister's, where we have more presents, games, and lots of food! (That SHE and not I cooked!)
We will be about 10 or 12...my sister always has room for one or two more...and we will have a wonderful time!
Dinner is Turkey with all the trimmings, homemade desserts (With my mother's wonderful fruit cake... lovingly sent from Prince Edward Island to Toronto, Ont.) and Christmas Crackers and everyone wearing those silly little paper crowns!
I am so gratefull for family and friends, including you people here at Rinkworks!
My cup runneth over! God Bless us, one and all!
