My favorite experience with Japanese tourists was in Germany. We were strolling around the gardens of one of the palaces there, a beautiful and senic place. Among the other visitors was a group of Japanese businessmen. Everyone circled the garden, ending at the reflecting pool, where we came upon a wedding party having their picture taken on the steps nearby. This caused quite a lot of interest among the Japanese, who of course took their own pictures of the amused bride and groom (their own photographer seemed not to mind the interuption). As we were leaving, I turned back for one last look and there they were, two dozen Japanese businessmen in black suits, white shirts, and cameras, standing in neat rows around the bride in her white dress, having a group photo.
