1) Go to the beach and fill your bucket with sea water.
2) Go west from the place you found the crown. You should find the centaur.
3) Help the centaur out. (If you already helped the Indian, you'll know just what to do.)
4) Go south from where you killed the vampiress and defeat the beefhead. (You should have everything you need.)
5) Once you get past the beefhead, the sword should be south of him.
