Now, is this the director's cut of "The Abyss" or the theatrical release? In other words, does it have the horrible "Day the Earth Stood Still" ending Cameron intended, or the horrible "Huh?" ending that we all got in the theater? More importantly, is the ending of the novel *better* than that of either movie?
