Which ones in particular are you thinking of? All of them, as far as I know, are territories or protectorates of larger counties, or are independent democracies. The only one I can think of offhand which is a monarchy is Tonga, and King Taufa'ahau Tupou seems about as likely to ever die or hand over the throne as Queen Elizabeth does.

I suppose you could always move to one of them, get citizenship, and try to get elected Prime Minister. But that doesn't seem as despotic as what you're looking for.
