Depends...

If I want a week to relax, read books, see nature, and maybe wander around a small town or two, either Mendocino, CA or around Lake Tahoe (also has the options of skiing in the winter and casinos year round).

If I wanted a week for sightseeing/history, Washington D.C. Always more than enough to do.

If I wanted to do the touristy stuff, Orlando. Disneyworld would give me lots of stuff to do.

If I could go overseas, St. Petersburg, Russia. A wonderful city with museums everywhere. (I would want more than a week anywhere else in Europe since I've only been to Russia and Finland.)

If I wanted to see friends and family and do things with them, New England/Boston.

Anywhere tropical is nice, too.
