I have to agree with you there. Of course, there are certain times, I think, when the story goes the other way.

I told you some time ago about how I was excited about Poser, a software package that lets you render and/or animate 3D people by positioning jointed models of the human form, clothing, and props, adjusting facial expressions and hair, and setting up lighting and cameras. It's a lot of fun, because I've always been a very visual person without being such a great graphic artist, so to finally have a tool that allowed me to create fantastical sorts of 3D rendered images was great.
