We also have the sales thing, starting the day after Thanksgiving. It is now a tradition in my family to go out with my siblings and wait in line for a good sale. It was FREEZING this friday. One store in particular (which we did not go to) opened at 5am. The line was HUGE at 4:30 am, and they were only letting people in a few at a time. What was the draw? A GameBoy Advance for $45 with purchase of $100 worth of toys. I didn't think this was such a great deal, and went and stood in line for a place that opened at 7am which was advertising GBA for $70 (the going sale price everywhere) PLUS a $30 game for free, which ended up being my Christmas presents. I'm not a kid at heart or anything. That line wasn't nearly as long, and I was the first one to pick up one of those. :)

They tend to have the best sales the first 5 hours of the day, then have normal sales for the rest of the weekend. Usually all the good stuff is gone in a few hours though.
