I figured somebody would ask me that.

I lost my wedding ring one year ago. I
remember that it was nearly exactly one year
ago because it was around the time or shortly
after my mother-in-law visited us for
Thanksgiving.

I wasn't wearing it regularly because for some
reason it was giving me a rash on my finger. I
had taken it off and put it in the pocket of the
shorts I was wearing around the house, and
later when I went to retrieve it, it was gone. We
looked all over the house (my parent's house
-- we were living with them at the time) but
never could find it.

So I'm fairly certain that my ring is still in their
house somewhere. I was wondering if it
would be worth it to rent a metal detector and
try to locate it that way. I've pretty much given
up any hope of ever finding it again. I'll get a
new one, when I can afford it.
