If you ever make it to Atlanta you must visit the Coca-Cola museum. Besides being a great museum dedicated to the legendary soda and its pop culture, you get the chance to try just about every type of soda pop that they make.

The first room has the current domestic offerings so you can have Coke, Cherry Coke, Sprite, etc. The second room has taps that spew out flavors that they market around the world. Fanta was the most familiar name with lots of different options. Many of them were very sweet and some are no more than soda water. Here is an excerpt I read that describes it well.

"You stagger into the "Tastes of the World" display, where dozens of awful soft drink flavors from around the world pour out of free fountain dispensers. Come on...you've gotta try at least one. Sip some tutti-frutti "Fanta Kolita" from Costa Rica, or try a mouthful of non-carbonated, sour cherry "Cappy" from the Czech Republic. Gah! Mouth-befouled veterans encourage newcomers to sample "Beverly" -- a quinine aperitif from Italy -- then laugh hysterically as the victims bulge their eyes and spit it out. Survivors of the "Tastes of the World" display have no problem understanding why Coca-Cola is so popular overseas. "

The Italian "Beverly" was pretty gross but the worst one that we found was the Lichi Nut Cola. I believe it was from Brazil and it was one of the worst things I've put in my mouth.

By the end of the whole thing, the sweetness of it all makes you sick and yearning for water.

Fer"Maybe they have Dasani dispensers now"rick
