I remember Barrilitos! I lived in Arizona for sixteen months, close enough to the border that half the population of our town were illegal immigrants. The local Safeway sold 12-ounce bottles of Barrilitos sodas right next to the cans of Coke and Pepsi. I bought the fruit punch flavor once and tried it. I can't remember if I liked it or not, though.

Eeurgh. It sounds about as appetizing as Mountain Dew: Code Red. Any soda that sounds like a B-movie title is almost bound to be disgusting. Now Orangina, that's a soda I can handle. No crazy colors or anything, just a wicked cool bottle. The only place near me that sells it is the Walters Art Museum, though, so I make do with orange juice and seltzer water. It just isn't the same, though.
