Very puzzled in FQ1 cont'd

Oh and I forgot in my previous post I can't take the orange leaves. They keep melting on me. Other posts I've read say that there's a dirty spot here after the orange leaves get taken. But how do I go about picking the leaves if they melt in my hand?
