You might have found out by now, but this is what the update said, "How ironic. The day after I talk about people causing artificial price spikes, the biggest price spike in the history of the Site Market Game occurs. And guess what: it's legitimate. Things People Said appeared in the "Mail Bag" page of ilovebacon.com, which delivered over six thousand referral hits, the majority of which were unique. It makes for a pretty decisive day in the game, pleasing for some and disappointing for others, but as it's all legitimate, the prices will stand."

Still, I give up anyway. Regardless if it was real or not, there's no way I can catch up.
