The power conduit problem is, in my opinion, the most challenging problem you'll face in any of the AGL games. I'll tread lightly, so as to give you a hint but not get deleted. You are correct in that the inner parallel is along the inside of the donut and the outer is along the outside. You need to think three-dimensionally. If you can't, get a donut and trace around it. You go inside, over, oustide, over and repeat it. Keep going with the pattern until you get to a place that blocks where you want to go. If that happens, start over. Everything will fall into place.
