I love Tampa Bay. It really is huge, and driving across the Skyway Bridge is one of the thrilling experiences of life (well, maybe that's an exaggeration, but you get the point). I've never seen it from the perspective of IN the water, but I'm sure it's just as cool, if not cooler.

There's a really old, pink building on Tampa Bay, and you can see it from the bridge. Not sure if you were able to see it from where you were. It's called the Don Cesar, if I remember right, though I may have spelled that wrong. Anyway, it's an old hotel from the days of the conquistadors. It's still in operation today, and it costs about $1500+ a night. It's really nice and there's a bunch of expensive art hanging on the walls. They have a dining hall with a huge table and they serve all that elegant food that looks cool but tastes like half-rotten shoelaces.

If you saw the hotel, you'd know. Trust me. It's probably the pinkest thing in Florida. :-)
