A nice weekend

I spent 4 days in Paris- Thursday until Sunday. It was good; I met some nice people in my hostel and saw many of the cool sights in the city. Of course, I didn't see everything I had wanted to (the city is just too big to do it all), but it was fun. My train back to London was 40 minutes late, due to bad weather conditions in Britain. But that allowed me ample time to see one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. There were dark gray clouds in the sky and the sun was throwing a fantastic purple shade up into them. A deep orange colour covered the rest of the skyline and I wish I could have stopped the train for a picture. A photo would not have done it justice, though. A perfect end to a weekend, yes? No. My weekend got even better when, today, classes were cancelled, making my weekend 5 days long. In addition, I bought a 36 pack of Jaffa cakes and two four packs of Tunnock's caramel wafers. I'm addicted, thanks to wintermute and Bourne. Going back to the U.S. in December is going to be difficult, because I won't be able to access these wonderful foods. Oh well, I'll enjoy it all while I can.
