Hey. This is the Melanie, straight from college forum post! Honestly, it started out as me daydreaming at work(because the brain quits and dies after eight hours checking groceries without stimulation), but I decided that since a few people wanted to know how things were going here at college, I would make it a fully integrated post.
I love it here, it's a blast, none of the worries I had in any of my other posts came true, and so far no one has come out from the sky and shouted "April Fools" so I think I'm doing well. People are so different at college! It's amazing. Everyone is all, "Hi, how are you, what's your major?" Very friendly. The college is liberal, horribly geeky, and has very high standards without driving me nuts studying every day.
Classes work, even if I'm not thrilled with them. Irksomely I'm not taking any classes that are actually in my major, unless you count orientation. For the first time in my life I have a B in a class, and I find I don't mind that much(although I do work my hardest to get rid of the darned things...). So, in other words, everything is very nice. For randomly spinning around and picking the college which my finger landed on(not really, but close enough) I think I did pretty well. Sorry if I missed anything you wanted to know, but I am operating on a "Woo! Just got out of work!" mind set.
Now to the subject and original intent of the post. The number one perk of living on campus is the huge database of free movies, music and pretty much anything else you would want to see. Sadly, or happily I suppose, this has led me to a life of constant anime viewing. So, it has seeped into my daily life inexorably, nearly to the point of scaring my friends. To try and end the insanity, here is the Top Ten Signs You've Been Watching Too Much Anime, from someone who knows. Some of these are from my real life experience.

10)Instead of the internet, you tell your friends that you are logging onto the "Wired"
9)You've tried to make your hair hang down in front of your ears, or if you are adventurous, stick out in streams from two buns on your head.
8)You look for several seconds while watching a movie before realizing there are no subtitles
7)When someone mentions crosses, the first thing that pops into your head is Evangelion
6)You stare at your stuffed cat for hours, willing it to turn into a boy.
5)You flash two fingers at people instead of waving
4)You wonder every time you eat pork if they finally got Ryouga
3)You keep wanting to shout "Hail Ilpallazo!" every time your boss comes in the room.
2)You compare every man you see to Vash the Stampede, but none of them quite match up.
1)And finally, you sometimes look at people and think, "That's not drawn realistically at all!"

Thank you, thank you. And now I think I should sleep. Or possibly watch some more Full Moon o Sagashiite...
