I was wondering whether it would have turned into a nightmare worthy only of Monkeyman's rotten food page, after its two days of freezing in an airplane cargo hold, two weeks of sitting out on Dave's kitchen benchtop, and two days coming to a slow boil in the back of a car driving through the desert.
