I would have mentioned this movie too, but it hardly counts as *childhood* idolatry, since I was in my mid teens at the time. Oddly enough, immediately before reading your post, I had just finished watching "The Princess Bride" for the first time in a few years. I thought I'd check the forum before going to bed, and this was the first post I clicked on. I love these little coincidences.

Personally, I like Inigo much better than the Dread Pirate Roberts.

I should also mention that the line "Nobody would be afraid of the Dread Pirate Wesley" is even funnier from a Rinkworks perspective.
