Can I find those again in their original places with my second party, or do I not need them, or do I have to sell/drop them and then find them again, or what?
The key items will be there for your active party to find as long as no one in that party is already carrying it.
For example, I have two characters each carrying Proper Authorization because they each went adventuring separately and found it without the other character along.
