I thought of another possible answer since posting my previous one. Maybe these people irk you because you *do* enjoy the voting process, and the fact that they *don't* enjoy it, subconsciously implies to you that, at some level, these people are really saying MOUSIE IS RONG SO HA HA U SUX0r.

Sometimes I think this is the only real, fundamental reason why anybody finds anything annoying.
