I don't know. But the reason why it would irk me is the laziness of the person. Not because it would inconvenience me, but just because I assume they are good for nothings for not wanting to spend five minutes doing it. They miss out on an experience I would find interesting. Of course, if I thought in depth I'd realize they probably have some reason for it, but even then I'd probably just be irked on general principles. But that's just me.
