Set back from the road in a forest up a mountain miles from anywhere, you can't see much of the house, but all the trees along the driveway and in the surroundings have CDs hanging all over them from strings. More strings go between the treetops, with CDs dangling from them individually or in long series like glittery little mirrors in the sky. It's actually quite attractive, once you get over the surprise.

My step-dad once made a christmas tree out of CDs. On the roof of a record/CD store here there is a pole with strings of CDs coming down from it. It looks cool, but only if you're careful not to get a reflection on your eye.
