Set back from the road in a forest up a mountain miles from anywhere, you can't see much of the house, but all the trees along the driveway and in the surroundings have CDs hanging all over them from strings. More strings go between the treetops, with CDs dangling from them individually or in long series like glittery little mirrors in the sky. It's actually quite attractive, once you get over the surprise.


I've seen where a co-worker took a bunch of her AOL CDs and other useless ones and cut them up into small squares. She then glued them to a good size styrofoam ball and made a hanging disco ball. I've wanted to do it myself but haven't had the need for a disco ball yet. But then again, why not?
