Help Tower in FQ2

ok I need to get inside the tower in fq2 and get the other gold. I have put everything in the receptical and I have tried every thing.
I have killed all the monsters in the forest and have given the southsayer 9 gold. I need the other gold peice.
My inventory:
12 Onions
Crown of Destiny
Cross
Pliers

Sack
Float Ring
Roc Feather
Iron Support

Small Silver Coin
Sap Tap
Coconut
Sword

Silver Key
Bucket
Blue Rubber Ball
Sunstone
Helppppppppppppp
