My uncle has been married and divorced some four or five times now. He married his first wife and she had a daughter from a previous marriage.

He the divorced her and had a couple more wives, then re-married her. Then divorced her, had another wife, divorced her, and remarried his first (and fourth, and now sixth) wife, they are still married and have been for sometime, I think maybe it as stuck.

So, for a while there I was never sure if Tricia was my aunt or if Jeanie was my cousin. Now I just say they are SOMETIMES my aunt and cousin, but they currently are.

Now, on my dad's side I never knew his younger sister's husband, she is divorced and has been single ever since, and has one kid who is my cousin and always will be. His older sister has been married for the whole time as far as I know and has three sons who are all my cousins and always will be. Odd that it's my dad's side of the family that is less messed up, when they are from north carolina :) Actualy it's odd because they are the ones from the little mill town in SC (close to GA) where most everyone has been married and divorced at least once.
