> It just makes me laugh to think that someone probably got paid more money than I make in an entire month to come up with the phrase BIG FUN TRIP, and then come up with any old words that fit it. And that he was too lazy to do that, and used entire phrases for some of it. And then couldn't think of anything for the FUN part, so just left it blank.

When I worked at H&R Block, we had to watch this training video which explained, in great detail, the meaning of the company's new logo. Go check out http://www.hrblock.com/ and you can see it in the upper-left hand corner. Did you catch it?

It's a green square (or block as they called it). That's it. I could make it in MS Paint in about 4 seconds (6 if I was drunk). Apparently, there is a whole bunch of marketing-speak behind this: something about a block representing security, honesty and reliability. Green is a color of energy, motivation and money. So the square symbolizes H&R Block's reliability, stability and dedication to its customers' money.

Yeah, right. I know what really happened was they paid some marketers 6-figures each to spend a few weeks reinventing them. The marketers, being marketers, spent all the money on cocaine and hookers in a weekend in Vegas, then came up with a green block that Monday when H&R Block wanted to see what they'd done.

Ste "Hrm. Maybe I should go into marketing..." phen
