Well, yes. And on purpose too. In order to prevent starvation, I used to paint classrooms all summer for miniumum wage. We also painted hallways, offices, and naturally, restrooms and locker rooms. It was summertime and school was out. Several of the other male teachers worked with me and we turned some dark, dreary places into bright, cheerful places. We covered up a lot of cuss words, spit wads, squashed insects, tobacco juice, phone numbers, and other stuff that normally collects on walls in schools. It was particularly thick in the restrooms, and we painted right over it all. Not only did we drag down a buck and quarter an hour for ten weeks, we made a lot of other teachers happy. Do you want to guess whose classrooms got the best paint jobs?
