Stuck on FQ2, been wandering around in circles

I can't figure out how to do the following: heal the tree, get past the vampiress, find a red rubber ball, or get in the tower. I've gotten the Indian's arm healed and I broke the maple syrup curse. My inventory:
20 Onions
Float Ring
Cross
Blue Rubber Ball
Sack
Sap Tap
Roc Feather
Pliers
Silver Key
Bucket of Sea Water
Coconut
Iron Support
