An Amish farmer and his son as driving down the road in their carriage. The road is very narrow - wide enough to permit only one vehicle at a time - and bounded on each side be steep cliffs. There's no room to pass for two miles in either direction.

A guy in a bright red sports car comes up in front of them, trying to get buy. He honks his horn impatiently. "Hey," he yells, "I'm a busy man! I have to get by here, so you better just move that thing!"

The Amish man rolls up his shirt sleeves, steps toward the man, and says, "you'd best back that car up and let us go by, or I'm going to have to do something I don't want to do."

Frightened, the man puts his car in reverse and backs up two miles so the Amish man can pass. The Amish man's son turns to him and says "father, what was it that you were going to have to do that you wouldn't like?"

The man replies, "back up two miles."
