Heh. This weekend my boyfriend and I celebrated the one-year anniversary of our first hug.

I'd always thought that couples who observed their three-month and six-month and every other month anniversaries were going a little overboard, and so it sounds (and felt) a little funny doing that for a hug. But the circumstances that brought us together with that hug were really unique (the date was Sept. 12, so you figure it out), and that first hug was more important to us than any specific date we first became an official couple.
