I keep a bottle of water on my nightstand (y'know, just in case I'd ever want water in the middle of the night, so of course I never do) and once I took it to the kitchen to empty it out and refill it (since I had not done so in about eleven months) and while grabbing the bottle my fingers smushed a spider that just happened to choose the water bottle out of five different things on the nightstand to perch on.

No reason to mention this other than I KILLED A SPIDER WITH MY BARE HANDS.
